Introduction
Welcome to Diplosoft Media Concept ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all photography, videography, editing, live streaming, and related media services ("Services") provided to clients ("you," "your," or "Client"). By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Scope of services
Diplosoft Media Concept provides photography, videography, post-production, event coverage, studio sessions, live streaming, online radio products, branding, and related digital media services as agreed in your booking form, quotation, or service agreement.
Booking and payment
Booking confirmation: All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of at least 70% of the total service fee.
Balance payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours after the event or upon delivery of the final product, as specified in the invoice.
Payment methods: Payments may be made via bank transfer, POS, or other approved channels to our business account.
Late payment: Late payments may attract interest at 5% per month until full settlement.
Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel: If you cancel 7 days or more before your booked date, your deposit will not be refunded, but you will not owe any further fees. If you cancel less than 7 days before your booked date, you must pay 75% of the total service fee to cover preparation costs.
If we cancel: If we cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (illness, severe weather, or similar), you will receive a full refund or we will reschedule at no extra charge—whichever you prefer.
Copyright and usage rights
Ownership: All photographs, videos, and digital content created by Diplosoft Media Concept remain our intellectual property under applicable copyright law unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Client usage rights: Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use deliverables for personal or business purposes as agreed.
Prohibited use: You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute deliverables for commercial gain without our written consent.
Promotional use: We may use selected work for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or competitions unless you opt out in writing.
Website use and advertising
This website may display third-party advertisements, including through Google AdSense. Use of the site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, including information about cookies and personalized advertising.
Client responsibilities
You must arrive on time and provide reasonable cooperation during sessions. You are responsible for location permissions and permits where required. We are not liable for delays caused by clients, weather, traffic, or venue restrictions.
Deliverables and turnaround
Edited photos and videos are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks unless a different timeline is agreed in writing. Final products may be delivered via secure download, USB, or other agreed methods. We may retain copies for backup and portfolio purposes for up to 12 months.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for loss of data due to equipment failure, theft, or accidents beyond our control, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the total service fee paid by you for the relevant booking.
Force majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, fire, floods, illness, or government actions.
Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and our Privacy Policy.
Dispute resolution
Parties agree to seek amicable settlement first. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Amendments
We may amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
